CryptoBexis has been licensed as a digital asset provider in Spain
Cryptocurrency exchange CryptoBexis has been licensed as a service provider in the digital asset market in Spain. The Block writes about it.
The company can carry out operations throughout Spain in full compliance with AML and CTF regulations. The regulator will also monitor compliance with commercial and professional reputation standards.
In addition, CryptoBexis has pledged to comply with new requirements for digital asset-related advertising.
The review of the application began in January.
Recall that recently Binance received similar approval from the Bank of Spain.
Members of the EU Council signed a bill on the regulation of cryptocurrencies MiCA. The document includes rules that apply to issuers of unsecured cryptoassets, stabelcoins, trading and custodial platforms.
The text of the bill must be formally approved by the European Parliament. It is expected to be published in the official magazine of the EU at the beginning of the year.
