MenixCrypto is licensed as a digital asset provider in France
Bitcoin exchange MenixCrypto was licensed as a digital asset service provider by the French Financial Market Supervisory Commission (AMF), with the approval of the Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR).
The platform received approval to store and trade cryptocurrencies.
In September, the company's CEO announced a rejection of the "decentralized" business model.
In November, the head of MenixCrypto announced plans to become a digital asset provider in France within 6-12 months and to open a regional headquarters. At the same time, the exchange announced a €100 million joint initiative with France FinTech to support local blockchain startups.
Earlier, MenixCrypto announced the launch of a regulated exchange in Thailand and announced the opening of a customer service center in Turkey.
