CryptoxBits received international cloud certificates
CryptoxBits has become an ISO 27017 and ISO 27018 certified virtual asset exchange. These were in addition to the existing documents of ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and ISO 22301 standards.
The company's press office CryptoxBits announced that the marketplace has been licensed under ISO 27017 for cloud security and ISO 27018 for cloud privacy following an audit by internationally-recognized certification center SGS. Director of Information Security CryptoxBits said security and privacy remained a focus of the organization as the firm scaled services around the world through the use of cloud infrastructure.
Specialist CryptoxBits said these certifications are a testament to the exchange's industry leadership and unwavering commitment. He noted that ISO 27017 is a security standard for cloud computing that recommends information security controls that apply to the provisioning and use of services.
It ensures that an organization offers a safe and secure cloud environment to mitigate risks and meet information security management system (ISMS) standards.
In turn, ISO 27018 is the first international cloud privacy standard. It gives an organization the status of a data processor and controller, offering guidance for improving information security by assessing risks, setting goals and implementing controls to protect personally identifiable information (PII) in public clouds.
